Hotel Policies and Terms & Conditions

HOTEL POLICIES

In order to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and to comply with current legislation we would like to point out that all accommodation and public areas of the hotel are entirely non- smoking. Should any guests be found to breach this regulation during their stay possible deep cleaning charges may be levied to their invoice

Please be aware that we do not have a lift in the hotel.

We have a strictly no pets policy at the City Hotel. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this decision but due to possible guest and staff allergies we can not permit any animals into the hotel other than Assistance Dogs.

We operate a 24 hour cancellation policy. Should you change your travel plans and no longer require your room, please ensure you update your booking at least 24 hours in advance, namely before midday the day before arrival. Failure to notify us may result in the first night of your stay being charged to the card used to secure your reservation.

Please ensure you book the correct room type for your needs. We offer our guests Executive, Business and Standard accommodation on different floors within the hotel - we unfortunately do not have wheelchair accessible rooms. Please select your desired room type carefully at time of booking as we can not guarantee upgrades will be available on arrival at the hotel.

We politely ask all guests to be aware that as a town centre hotel there can from time to time be low level noise caused by pedestrians or passing traffic. This is unavoidable due to our central location. At weekends we ask that guests consider our hotel entertainment which is on until midnight every Friday and Saturday nights in our bar area. Although staff are quick to clear the bar following our Karaoke events, guests who require an early night would be well advised in requesting a quiet room with reception staff at time of booking. We can not guarantee a change of room on the night.
